After spending time working in the music industry, I would now like to share with you my most favourite underrated artists and albums.
But first…
Why am I starting a blog?
I am a guitar teacher from the United Kingdom and want to share my thoughts of some of the industry's finest, in hope that you discover some new music along the way.
I have a love for finding new artist and albums with the aim to create my next ‘on-repeat’ playlist. I dedicate time each day listening to songs that friends and family have recommended and would like to create a platform to share new and underrated music on a grander scale.
What to expect
Every Tuesday, I will alternate between sharing one ‘Music's Best Kept Secret’ artist or one ‘Not Spoken About Enough’ album.
A mix of work from up-and-coming talent, artists with a cult following, and household names who have forgotten gems will be included. On the whole, the ‘Music's Best Kept Secret’ artist will be a new, emerging talent, whilst the ‘Not Spoken About Enough’ album will be from someone who already has some traction.
The article will be a short summary of what makes the music worthy of a mention. It will explain what I like about it so much and what makes it sound so good. The real aim though is to get you to listen to the artist or album. Therefore, I include my top 5 songs from the artist or album at the start of the article to make a bit more of a compelling case.
You will also get access to a playlist of ‘10 Songs Anyone Can Appreciate’ that is updated weekly for you to listen to in your own time and discover something new.
